I was fortunate to participate in the live class with Mary Beth and Rae. This video version really captures the wonderful techniques we learned and the joy of discovering how versatile and exciting working with watercolor in unusual ways can be! After I finished the class, I continued to be inspired to use watercolor with acrylic inks, various pens, and pencils, working outside of my comfort zone! I've taken in person and online courses from both Rae and MaryBeth in the past, but taking the live class from both of them at the same time was truly inspirational and FUN! I look forward to reliving these moments again and again.

Before I took this class, I was convinced that I hated watercolors and they weren't for me. But I was convinced by a friend to give it one more try. This class took away all of my fears about using watercolors. I realized through this course how much the quality of my colors mattered much more than the number of my colors. I am now much more confident about using watercolors and not as concerned with needing to use them like a traditional watercolorist. This was very freeing for me and I owe it all to this class.
